Michael Storm

Michael graduated from anesthesia school in 2005 and immediately joined the staff at a level 1 trauma center in Columbia, SC.

In 2006 he and his two study mates from anesthesia school started a teaching business, Nurse Anesthesia Review Course 4U, because they felt there was a need for more review courses than was available at that time. In 2013 Michael started Storm Anesthesia on the ashes of NARC 4U to continue his passion for teaching and writing.

In 2020 Michael decided to extend his writing and teaching skills to CRNAs in need for continuing education, and in 2021 he launched recertCRNA with the goal of becoming the premier continuing education website for CRNAs. Michael has now partnered with Dr. Strube in helping struggling nurse anesthesia residents succeed in becoming the best possible CRNAs.

Additionally, in 2023 Dr. Strube and Dr. Storm launched a platform for an RN to SRNA academy, where they coach RNs with a desire to be accepted into nurse anesthesia school.

When you will not find Michael in front of his computer he can often be found sailing on Lake Murray with his wonderful wife Annette. His love of the outdoors also brings him to the ski-slopes in the Rockies or in Europe. Michael has been a professional fully certified alpine ski instructor for almost 30 years and taught in Vail, CO, Livigno (Italy), Avoriaz (France), and Hemsedal (Norway). One day he and Annette would like to get back into playing golf, which before anesthesia was a major passion of both Annette and Michael.

“Successfully passed the NCE exam, becoming a CRNA after overcoming challenges with work-study balance and testing anxiety. Referred to LTC Peter Strube, his guidance emphasized a full-time study schedule with meditation. LTC Strube tailored a plan that proved instrumental in my success. I highly recommend him as an outstanding tutor; attempting this task alone is unnecessary. With LTC Strube's help, success is attainable!”

In a time crunch, his consistent encouragement and positive attitude kept me focused. With his help, I passed my exam, and a significant stressor was lifted. I highly recommend Peter and his effective approach.”

“Today, the elation of passing my boards after numerous attempts is indescribable, thanks to Peter Strube. His board prep approach is unparalleled. After trying three review programs and facing multiple exam attempts, Peter's collaboration with Prodigy Review equipped me with the essential tools for success. I urge others to join sooner rather than later to avoid the grief and time I wasted. While the journey was challenging, following Peter's guidance is undeniably worthwhile. I only wish I had discovered him before my initial board attempt.”
